About Me

I grew up in Costa Mesa/Newport Beach, spending the majority of my youth either at the beach in the water, skate boarding at the local spots, or playing football. I attended Newport Harbor High School where I played football and other sports. After high school I went to Orange Coast College and eventually found my way to National University where I graduated earning a BA in English and a Single Subject Teaching Credential. I have been in the teaching realm for seven years teaching English to middle school kids. I have a beautiful, supportive family and I am so thankful for all of their support over the years.

I have always been interested in photography - my mom hooked me early letting me use her camera as a young boy. I took photography in high school where I was allowed to develop my own 35mm film in a dark room. I thought it was cool and always enjoyed talking photos. I starting shooting more photos when COVID hit - mostly landscape photos of all the different states we traveled to and camped in. After getting comfortable behind the camera, my wife Christina talked me into doing some sessions in the studio. I found it really fulfilling and I am always grateful to my clients who allow me to produce an image for them, they love it, and will last for a lifetime when taken care of.

Photographers are given permission to peek into the lives of their clients and then have the privilege of producing an image that will stand the test of time.

My wife and I share the studio space so if you are interested in family portraiture be sure to check out her site and let her know I sent you!
